Minecraft Dungeons 2nd Anniversary Event Update 1.15.0.0 Now Live

Minecraft Dungeons just launched its second anniversary and released a new update to version 1.15.0.0.
After installing the patch, players can join the party. The event, which ends on June 15, offers seasonal trials to collect both the gear and the stylish anniversary cape. A special tower challenge can also be completed to earn the baby moobloom.

Changes and fixes:
Performance and stability
- Improved stability on Nintendo Switch, especially when playing 4-player co-op
- Fixed a crash on the Adventure Hub that could occur when switching between pages using gamepad triggers
- Improved performance when interacting with a merchant for the first time after entering the camp (MCD-7044)
- Fixed a crash that could occur when purchasing armor from a Luxury Merchant or Village Merchant while using a gamepad
- Fixed a crash that could occur when trying to resume a suspended tower while disconnected from Minecraft Services
- Fixed a crash that could occur when playing as a client in online co-op and collecting TNT created by looting or duplicating tome
- Fixed a crash that could occur when using the gamepad with mouse and keyboard on the tower floor reward screen
- Fixed a crash that could occur if a trick run failed
- Optimized several areas on Desert Temple Tower tiles to improve frame rate
Gameplay
- Wildfire Changes:
- Removed passive Wildfire regeneration
- Set initial shield to regenerate after 6 seconds of no incoming damage
- Set shields after to regenerate after 5 seconds
- Fire regeneration reduced by 30%
- A sound effect now plays when a layer of the Wildfire’s shield is regenerated
- Ranged creatures affected by Love Medallion now receive the boosted damage effect
- Closing the game on the tower reward screen no longer darkens the camp or causes partial loss of controller input.
- Items like Climbing Gear and Dense Brew now apply the correct wind resistance
- Pressing the teleport button while attacking no longer causes the player to attack repeatedly
- Fixed low level enchantments like Poison Cloud to display poison damage correctly
- Improved Tower Guard visuals so it is clearer that their shields have the deflect enchantment
Achievements
- Achievement “End Run” can now be unlocked by using the melee weapon “The Starless Night”
- Fixed the “Fashionable Climber” achievement not unlocking after meeting its requirements
- Fixed guest players in local co-op incorrectly affecting progress towards a number of achievements:
- back where you came from
- Piglin’s Best Friend
- Goal-oriented
- Bad omen, good loot
- Fixed unlocking the “Daily Destroyer” achievement after completing only two of the three required Daily Trials
Tower
- It is no longer possible to bypass the floor reward screen without claiming a reward
- Fixed multiple tower floors to avoid skipping areas
- Fixed several ambush events that could be avoided to skip tower floors (MCD-7041, MCD-7189)
- Fixed an exploit that could cause tower floors to jump after dying in a boss fight (MCD-7055)
- Fixed multiple entry issues that allowed players to get multiple rewards on each floor of the tower (MCD-6912)
- Removed several invisible obstacles on the stairs leading to the exit door on several floors of the tower
- Fixed balcony walls having no arrow collisions on multiple floors
- Fixed an invisible object interfering with player pathing on a tower floor
- Removed an invisible wall near some wind stuff on a tower floor
- TNT can no longer be cast on the reward selection screen
- Fixed an issue that caused players to gain extra enchantment points and skip floor counter (MCD-7173)
- Lap completed screen button text changed from “COLLECT” to “CLAIM”
- Decreased the explosion effect when suspending a tower race
- Easier to navigate equipped Artifacts on the Tower Rewards selection screen when using a gamepad
- Fixed missing item descriptions for tower rewards
- Fixed a tower floor that could knock players onto an invisible ceiling after falling into a frozen lake
- Fixed door positions on multiple floors of the tower

- Ancient Hunt: Fixed missing terrain in Spider Cave interrupting mission progression (MCD-7110)

- Fixed Season Leaderboard text alignment on Portuguese Language Adventure Hub (Portuguese)
User interface
- Fixed the Mystery Banner prompt so it’s clearer that players need to hold down a button to pick up
- The “new” marker will now appear in the Cosmetics tab of the inventory for new cosmetic items that have not been reviewed
- The game no longer locks on the Tower Failed screen after opening the map on the reward selection screen
- Cursor can now move horizontally between storage chest and inventory if one of the rows on either side is empty
- Quickly transferring items between storage chest and inventory no longer causes the screen to jump a bit
- “Weekly Challenge Completed” toast notifications are now localized for all supported languages
- The “Full Seasonal Trials” counter no longer overlaps the frame of the designated area
- The Adventure Hub now displays the correct button prompts when playing with a single Joy-Con on Nintendo Switch
- Keyboard button prompts are now displayed on the adventure hub for switching between seasonal adventures
- Rewards can now always be cycled through using the arrow keys when viewing the adventure hub
- Mission select screen and inventory screen can no longer be opened when viewing the adventure hub or settings
- Fixed left and right thumbsticks being referred to incorrectly on the Controller Mapping screen
- The game now displays a more informative error message when accepting a multiplayer invite and multiplayer privileges are blocked
- Fixed screen reader not reading trial modifiers when selected on the mission select screen
- Fixed inconsistent button prompt when transferring items between Storage Chest and Inventory
- The game now displays an error message if disconnected from Xbox services
- Screen reader now correctly reads available entries on the Adventure Hub
- The screen reader now correctly reads which season the player is viewing and which one can be navigated to on the adventure hub.
- Icons for enchantment points, enchantments, weapons, and power levels now have consistent sizes on the tower floor reward screen.
Known issues:
The development team is aware of the following issue and will work to fix it in a future update:
- In the Tower, slimes spawned by the Corrupted Cauldron remain alive when the player loses a life and respawns.
