Mojang Studios has officially released a trailer for the Minecraft Dungeons Anniversary event to be held from May 25 to June 15. According to the developers, the “second anniversary party is on” and players will be able to “participate in the in-game festivities to earn event-themed gear and cosmetics, including the baby moobloom. May 26 marked the second anniversary of the dungeon crawler. The developers said at the event: “Time flies when you’re having fun. Wait a sec, you’re there in Highblock Halls for the first time, barely beating Archie on Normal. The next day, you complete a difficult ancient hunt as if you were born to do so. Unlike me, who was born to cry over the fact that I’m still struggling with the Corrupted Cauldron. We are all meant for something!
“Minecraft Dungeons has grown up, and this month our little rascal turns two! We want to commemorate this occasion and celebrate our journey by throwing the most over-the-top birthday party this side of the Overworld. And of course, you are invited!
According to Mojang Studios, “Between May 25 and June 15, you can participate in an anniversary event that offers several unique in-game activities. Participate in seasonal events where you can collect fancy equipment like the Sparkler, Sweet Tooth or Sugar Rush – as well like a new and elegant birthday cape. Or why not take on a special challenge in the tower to win the friendship of the adorable baby moobloom? Becoming best friends with this gorgeous bovine should be everyone’s top priority – right after “Mark the Calendar for the Birthday Event”, “Start the Launcher” and “Play”. Minecraft Dungeons‘! Hm, that’s a lot of companies actually. Better make a list and pin some sticky notes on the screen. “
