Story mode will be the last reveal game to go

Goodbye forever

Telltale is currently being erased from history. A few weeks ago, news broke that all Telltale games would be removed from GOG. This means The Walking Dead, Batman, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Wolf Among Us and many more are gone forever. Now, it looks like Minecraft: Story Mode is also suffering the same fate, but in this case, it’s on all platforms. In a few weeks, we’ll be saying goodbye to Jesse and his friends for good. Minecraft.net has implemented an update informing us of this terrible news.

“Today we have important information to share for all players of Minecraft: Story Mode – A Revealing Game Series, Season 1 & 2, on behalf of its publisher. As you may have heard, its publisher is no longer in business, which unfortunately means that Minecraft: Story Mode will no longer be supported. If you purchased these seasons, please download all remaining episodes before service is discontinued in June. Here is the full message:

It’s basically the last call of video games. If you were hesitant to get these games, now is the time to act. Buy them, download them, then wait to play them afterwards. Last reminder, Minecraft: Story Mode will be erased from all digital stores on June 25th. Good speed.

Will you pick up Minecraft: Story Mode before it’s gone? Let us know in the comments below.
