Launched about a year ago, Minecraft Dungeons is a spin-off of the popular game Minecraft but differs in many ways. For one thing, it’s not the open-world game you’d expect, but more of a cooperative ARPG (action role-playing game) with procedurally generated dungeons, monsters, and loot. The game features several DLC packs that take players through the Dungeons storyline. Even though the game launched to mixed fanfare, the updates and downloadable content allowed the game to quickly gain a massive following.
On July 28, players will be able to experience the final chapter of this series, but that certainly does not mean the end of Dungeons, explain the developers.
In a blog post on the company’s website, By Landin wrote: “Does this mean it’s over for Minecraft Dungeons? Definitely not – there’s a lot more to come – but one thing at a time! In the Echoing Void DLC, you’ll face daring new enemies, collect legendary gear, and traverse challenging missions to put an end to the unspeakable threats (emphasis on plural) that lurk within the dark dimension in which the Voids reside. Endermen. Are you thrilled? Excited? Maybe even a little ecstatic? Good, because there is more!

They will also be releasing an Ultimate Edition of the game so you can purchase the game and all DLC packs and enjoy the game in all its glory.
Here’s what you can expect from the Echoing Void DLC for Minecraft Dungeons;
THE GALE GLOVE
Just like our previous adventures, we’re bringing a free content update alongside the release of Echoing Void! Along with adding a handful of powerful enchantments such as Ambush, Shadow Blast, and Void Strike, we’re also introducing Gauntlet of Gales – a unique maze-like mission that tests your skills through tricky trials and puzzling puzzles! This gauntlet can be accessed through your mission map and contains challenges that require everything from wits and cunning to stamina and determination. I lack all of these skills, but I’ll give it a shot anyway!
